“Respect” Aretha Franklin for this brilliant cover of Adele’s “Rolling in The Deep.”

On Tuesday morning, the 72-year-old released a new and improved version of the Grammy Award winning track and it is literally jaw dropping good. Franklin, who is known for her hit tracks “Respect,” “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman” and “Think,” gave the song a little makeover by cranking up the tempo and including the chorus from Tammi Terrell and Marvin Gaye’s classic record, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”

Rolling In The Deep (The Aretha Version)” will be on the star’s forthcoming album, Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics, set to drop on Oct. 21.

The host, with the exception of Angela Yee, then proceeded to deduce Amara’s issue to being a problem that’s “all in (her) head”, even referencing the success of Cardi B. as evidence of La Negra’s delusion. You have to watch this to believe it…
