Ray Rice has been cut by the Baltimore Ravens and suspended indefinitely by the NFL following the disturbing video released of the NFL player attacking his fiancée in an elevator.

“The Baltimore Ravens terminated the contract of RB Ray Rice this afternoon,” a statement released by the Ravens read.

In a video obtained by TMZ, surveillance video shows Rice hitting Janay Palmer while at the Revel Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey back in February. In the shocking clip, you see Rice hit Palmer twice before she falls to the ground unconscious.

The NFL initially suspended the 27-year-old for 2 games following the incident, but apparently nobody had seen this particular video until TMZ posted it. “We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator,” NFL senior vice president of communications Greg Aiello told CNN. “That video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today.”

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
