Forbes Cash Kings 2014: Highest Earning Hip Hop Stars In The World



Forbes has officially released their list of the world’s highest paid hip-hop acts of 2014 and to no surprise, topping the list at number one, Dr. Dre.

Earning a staggering $620 million dollars this year, the “Straight Outta Compton” rapper beat out Diddy, who topped the list last year with a cool $50 million. Earlier this year, Dre sold his Dre Beats to Apple for a whopping $3.2 billion, which will soon make him hip-hop’s first billionaire. And get this, Dre’s earnings this year alone is more than the combined earnings of the 24 rappers on the Cash Kings list.

“It’s safe to say headphones is a good business,” DJ Khaled told Forbes, who earned an estimated $7 million.

Following behind Dre on the list, Jay Z and Diddy who tied for number two, both clocking in $60 million. In fourth place, Drake with a cool $33 million and rounding out number five, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with a combined $32 million.

Girl Power Prevails At The 2017 American Music Awards



Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
