Did Iggy Azalea Give The Thumbs Up For Ex-Boyfriend To Sell Sex Tape?
The Iggy Azalea sex tape scandal keeps getting more thrilling by the day.
As previously reported, Houston rapper Hefe Wine came forward and revealed that not only is he the man in the tape, but that Iggy is indeed his bed partner. Now, the rapper is claiming that the “Fancy” rapper gave him legal authority to shop the sex tape.
According to TMZ, Azalea signed an agreement in 2009, giving Wine exclusive rights to “manufacture, sell, distribute and advertise ‘any’ recording embodying visual images.”
Per the news outlet, Iggy signed the contract to “cut records and music videos” … But here’s where things get tricky. Wine thinks that if he just slaps a music bed under the sex tape, he then has the rights to market the tape.
The contract also states that Heffe has the “legal right to create, host and maintain a website to market Iggy’s works” … Again, pretty tricky. Because of the agreement, the rapper believes he can create a website and host the video.
Iggy has been doing all she can to bring the skuttlebutt to a halt by addressing the issue via social media.
“I dont have a sex tape but for the record… Anyone who releases or attempts to make profit off someone else’s intimate moments against their will is a sex offender,” she tweeted. “& it honestly makes me sick to see the media encourage any other attitude towards those sorts of people, we should want to protect our women and i really hope that america will follow Europe and their laws to better protect peoples privacy and fundamental rights.”
