Confirmed: Kandi Burruss’ “A Mother’s Love” Play Cancelled

Published

Taking her show on the road was a dream come true for Kandi Burruss, but now it has become a nightmare.

Kandi created “A Mother’s Love”, a musical loosely based on her own relationship with her mother, just a year ago and had a successful run in Atlanta. Earlier this summer, it was announced that the play would go on an U.S. tour hitting multiple cities before year’s end.

Unfortunately for fans, the show has been cut short and it looks like a janky promoter is to blame. Burruss took to Instagram to air her frustrations with the cancellation and to apologize to those who were eager to see the show.

“A Mother’s Love” was a joint venture for Kandi and her hubby, Todd Tucker. The play starred many popular faces from Black Hollywood.
