Cardinals Running Back Jonathan Dwyer Arrested For Domestic Abuse
The NFL’s list of domestic abusers is getting longer and longer…
According to reports, Arizona Cardinal’s running back, Jonathan Dwyer, has been arrested for domestic abuse.
Dwyer was arrested on Wednesday after being questioned by police about a previous altercation with his wife, Kayla Dwyer, who had kept records of her injuries. The 25-year-old is being charged with aggravated assault and preventing someone from calling 911.
Dwyer is having a pretty good season with Arizona so far, in the first two games of this season, he had already clocked in 16 carries. But it looks like his season will be put on hold, an NFL spokesperson told ESPNNewYork.com that the Cardinals have already deactivated him.
The story is currently developing, but this does not look good for Dwyer or the NFL, who are already dealing with the Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson, and Greg Hardy cases.
