Big Sean Says He Was With Ex-Girlfriend Naya Rivera When He Wrote ‘IDFWY’

After hearing Big Sean’s new song, “I Don’t F*ck With You,” one can’t help but think he’s rapping about his ex, Naya Rivera. Sean opened up about the track to MTV, saying that he wasn’t angry when he wrote the song and contrary to popular belief, it wasn’t even originally a post-breakup song.

“I wasn’t angry, man,” Sean said in the interview. “You know, the funny thing about ‘I Don’t F**k With You’ is that I actually wrote that while I was in a relationship. I wasn’t bitter. I wrote that while I was with my ex. And then like after a couple of things went down, I went back and changed a couple of words.”

In the song, Sean raps:

“I swear I hear some new bullsh*t every day I’m wakin’ up
It seems like nowadays everybody breakin’ up
That shit can break you down if you lose a good girl
I guess you need a bad b*tch to come around and make it up
I guess drama makes for the best content
Everything got a bad side, even a conscience
Now you’re drinkin’ ’til your unconscious
Feel me when you get a fine b*tch
Just don’t forget to read the fine print
Life got me meditatin’ like I’m in the Himalayas
Keep it G with the L lit on me like the elevator
Yeah I know that karma’s too real so I hope you doin’ cool
But still stupid a** b*tch I ain’t f*ckin’ with you
Little stupid a** I ain’t f*ckin with
I ain’t f*ckin’, I ain’t I ain’t f*ckin’ with you
I ain’t f*ckin’ with you”

While it may not have been originally about Naya, Sean does acknowledge that it is about someone in his past, “Everybody got somebody they feel like that about, and if you don’t got somebody you feel like that about, you felt like that in a time in your life.”

The song was not written post breakup, but we think that when Sean says he, “went back and changed a couple of words” after “a couple things went down,” he changed more than just a couple.

Exclusive: Sorry, Folks, Diddy Did NOT Offer H&M Model A Contract

Last week rumors started circulating that Diddy had offered Liam Mango, the young model featured in the H&M ad a Sean John modeling contract. Unfortunately those reports, as sweet as they sound, aren’t true.

Diddy spoke to reporters backstage before a tapping of his new show The Four  and clarified what really happened.

“I didn’t actually offer a modeling contract to him I told my people to reach out to him so we could use him in the next shoot that we do,” he explained.  “But with that being said, I think that what we’re seeing is just a general insensitivity to how we feel you know. I think that H&M is going to feel the results of that.”

H&M has issued an official apology for featuring Mango on their website in a “Coolest Monkey In The Jungle” hoodie, saying in a statement : “We sincerely apologize for offending people with this image of a printed hooded top. The image has been removed from all online channels and the product will not be for sale in the United States. We believe in diversity and inclusion in all that we do and will be reviewing all our internal policies accordingly to avoid any future issues.”

After photos of the young boy hit the web, folks started speaking out against the retailer calling them racist and insensitive. But one person not feeling that way was Mango’s mother. She posted her thoughts Facebook questioning what all the fuss is about. “I really don’t understand but not coz am choosing not to but because it’s not my way of thinking, sorry.”

She and the boys father Terry Odhiambo have since had a change of heart appearing on ITV on Monday, saying they don’t think that there’s ever an “overreaction when it comes to racism”.

They also said they’ve had to move from their home in Sweden, and haven’t been able to live a normal life since the controversy started.
