The naked photos circulating the Internet of Ariana Grande are not authentic, says the pop star.
“To every1 going on about my ‘nudes’ & my ‘m&g prices’ neither are real! my lil ass is a lot cuter than that lmao & tour details r comin soon,” she tweeted late Monday night. “But forreal tho whoever thought those were actually me…… love u but I’m praying for u.”
Grande is just one of dozens of celebrities defending themselves after a 4chan user broke the Internet over the weekend and leaked naked selfies of stars like Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton and Selena Gomez.
Lawrence and Upton’s reps however, have confirmed that the photos of their A-list clients are real.
“This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence,” a rep for Lawrence said in a statement.
Gabrielle Union, Rihanna, Meagan Good and Kim Kardashian are also rumored to have naked selfies floating around.
The FBI, who is currently investigating, released the following statement:
“The FBI is aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals, and is addressing the matter. Any further comment would be inappropriate at this time.”
