Shad Moss aka Bow Wow has landed a new role on CBS’s upcoming crime drama, CSI: Cyber.

According to a Deadline report, Shad will play Brody “Baby Face” Nelson, a nineteen year old savant and cyberhacking genius who is ordered to work with the FBI’s Cyber Crime Division or face prison.

“Bow Wow is a gifted young actor who will have the responsibility, through his character, to set an example for young people who watch the show to ‘do what’s right’ even when you know ‘nothing but wrong,’” CSI franchise creator Anthony E. Zuiker said about Shad taking the role.

Moss is currently the host of BET’s 106 & Park which led much speculation as to if he will be able to balance both jobs. The 27-year-old took to twitter to dispel the rumors:Screen Shot 2014-08-19 at 1.26.24 PMThe CSI spinoff is set to air as a mid-season show on CBS.
