Rumor Control: Eric Bellinger and Meagan Good’s Sister La’Myia Not Engaged

Published

Love is still in the air…but wedding bells? Not so much.

When HipHollywood caught up with Eric Bellinger recently we were all set congratulate him on his rumored engagement to La’Myia Good, Meagan Good’s big sister. But, he hit us with the beat-bop! “I didn’t pop the question. See, it was just a miscommunication,” the R&B singer told us.

The confusion came when Meagan posted this message on Instagram, along with a picture of her sis and Eric.

#ILoveThem .. My Seester is one of my greatest earthly blessings .. I love her.. I would die to protect her .. And she I .. I’ve never trusted anyone with her heart .. Until this one change my mind .. I gained a Brother ๐Ÿ™‚ .. Thanks Dad

“I gained a Brother”, “Thanks Dad”, you see our confusion right? But Eric went on to explain that there’s still lots of love between he and La’Myia. “I’m super excited about everything that we’re building. Me and La’Myia are on our little journey, doing our thing.”

Soooo, engagement soon?!

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “workย with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
