Paula Patton Steps Into Spotlight After Robin Thicke Split, Shows Up At Emmy Party

Paula Patton is stepping back into the spotlight.

Since Paula and Robin Thicke’s February 2014 split, the Baggage Claim actress has shielded herself from Hollywood and the public spotlight. But that’s all changing … Slowly but surely.

In one of just a few public appearances in nearly six months, Paula was spotted at the Emmys HBO party on Monday night at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. According to E! News, looked to be in good spirits, smiling and laughing as she chatted with fellow celebs and industry professionals at the soiree.

Paparazzi also captured the stunning actress on Monday night leaving Craigs restaurant in Hollywood. The star stunned in the same dress worn to the Emmys party … A gorgeous short black, sheer ensemble.

Paula and Robin announced their split earlier this year, writing in a statement that their breakup was mutual.

During an interview back in July, Thicke opened up about their failed marriage. “At this point in our relationship, the only reason we’re not together is because of the choices I made,” he told New York’s Hot 97. “We’re apart because we just couldn’t be together anymore for awhile. There’s a hundred different reasons.”

He added, “I’m a man. I messed up and I had to lie for a while, and then I stopped lying. That was actually good for me because I was tired of lying.”

According to TMZ, neither parties have hired a divorce lawyer, but an attorney is already working on a financial settlement.
