According to the police report, obtained by HipHollywood, law enforcement responded to a call at 3:30 a.m. saying that Oden had hit a woman. Police arrived to the home and found the victim sitting on the couch with blood on her face. The woman’s best friend, who was also a witness told police that “he punched her in the face, my hand hurts and I just want to go home.”
According to the documents, police “observed blood, swelling to the nose, lacerations to the forehead and nose area of the victim’s face.” The responding officer also “observed blood on the sofa and floor in the sitting area” and “on the living room carpet dirt from a flower pot that was knocked over.

The witness entered the room and said “there isn’t that much love in the world; you need to tell that he punched you in the face.”
The report states that the 26-year-old, former Miami Heat player told police, “things got out of control and I started to go after the victim. My relative and witness tried to hold me back, but as I swung my arms to move them out of the way, then punched the victim in the face.”
Gregory revealed that he and the victim dated for approximately two years, but broke up just a few months ago.
“I was wrong and I know what has to happen,” Oden said.
Police state that Greg was “calm, apologetic and cooperative.”
Lawrence Police Capt. Gary Woodruff tells HipHollywood that this is a “preliminary arrest” and that Oden has “not formally been charged with anything.”
