Kerry Washington, Keke Palmer, Uzo Aduba Stun At The 66th Annual Emmy Awards
The 66th Annual Emmy Awards were held on Monday night and as expected, Hollywood’s elite arrived oozing glamor in their impeccable designer garments.
While red and blue appeared to be the color of the night, nominee Kerry Washington opted for something a little different. Just four months after giving birth to her daughter Isabel, the actress brightened up the carpet in a stunning orange dress. Washington was nominated for her role as Olivia Pope on ABC’s Scandal.
And having a total Cinderella moment, Keke Palmer, who turned heads in a Rubin Singer electric blue gown; paired with Chopard jewelry, Jimmy Choo shoes and a Swarovski clutch.
“I feel like [my Emmy dress] epitomizes who I am and my coming of age,” Keke told Us Weekly. “It’s the first time I’m going to the Emmys as an adult, and my life is changing, so this is a moment for me where I feel like a princess. I knew the dress was the one because I felt like I could do anything — it was almost fairy tale-ish.”
Emmy Award winner, Uzo Aduba also made jaws drop in an immaculate red, Christian Siriano gown. The star, who won an Emmy last week for her role as Crazy Eyes in Orange is the New Black, sported a simple clean hair style with minimal jewelry. Flawless!
