Justin Timberlake Gets In Trouble For Using N-Word Synonym
Justin Timberlake is a hilarious guy but he may have stepped overboard this weekend when he sent birthday wishes to Madonna, referring to her as his, “mother chucking ninja.”
Madonna celebrated her 56th birthday this weekend and Justin, out of the goodness of his heart, decided to send some good energy her way,
“A happiest of Bdays to my mother chucking ninja, @Madonna!! Hope you have a great one, M!,” he congratulated her via Twitter.
Timberlake quickly deleted the Tweet but not before fans and followers read it and fired back at him for using a universally recognized synonym for the N-word.
While the internet may not have been happy with Justin using the word, we are pretty sure Madonna wasn’t offended.
In January, the “Like A Virgin” singer put up an Instagram post of her son boxing, using the hashtag “#disn*gga” in the caption. Madonna received a lot of backlash for the post, but showed no remorse when she fired back at critics writing, “Ok let me start this again. #get off of my d–k haters!” She later apologized stating,
“I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N-word on Instagram,” the singer said in a statement on Saturday, Jan. 18. “It was not meant as a racial slur…I am not a racist.” Following it up by stating, “There’s no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention…It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it’s a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me.”
