Joe Budden Tweets Jokes From Jail

Typically going to jail is no laughing matter, but Joe Budden’s find the whole scenario quite hilarious.

On Wednesday morning, Joey finally turned himself into the NYPD 34th precinct. The rapper was charged with robbery and grand larceny…but not domestic violence. Budden’s allegedly tried to steal his girlfriend’s phone after brutally attacking her in his New Jersey home. NJ police are still investigating the alleged assault.

Joe, however thought he would be out in no time tweeting, “I’ll be out in time for the strip club later @Bbillions @soiicy ……” Unfortunately for the Love and Hip Hop star, he’s still locked up, but somehow sees the silver lining in this whole situation.

Budden’s has made jokes about how uncomfortable he is, “This bench is hard as a f*ck ! & while that could’ve been a d*ck joke, my phone is on 25%, so i’ll refrain.” He’s also made light of the menu jail offers while confirming he’ll be in jail for at least a few day, “Eating cheese sandwiches, down for the weekend. Smh.” And in an unlikely turn of events, it looks like Joey has even made a friend while incarcerated. In response to @Jayscat19’s tweet, “I Was Really In The Same Jail Cell With Joe Budden lml”, the Slaughterhouse rapper replied, “That judge wasn’t playin, smh.”

Although Joe faces some very serious charges, it seems like he’s taking it all in stride.

From Gangsta To Gospel … Snoop Dogg Shuts Down Critics Of His Spiritual Album

Who says a gangsta rapper can’t drop a gospel album — apparently, the critics.

Snoop Dogg released his spiritual effort, Bible Of Love, today and unfortunately some folks just don’t understand why. Thankfully, we talked to Uncle Snoop and he let the haters know they won’t be dulling his shine.

“My spirit is in the right place,” Snoop proclaimed, “so for those who have backlash or something to say, their spirit ain’t right.” But Unc didn’t stop there, he went on a preached a word right quick … “I thought the Bible said Jesus was in the streets mixing it up with the real, bringing the real back to the fold.” Yep, yep, that’s exactly right!

But just because he has a gospel album doesn’t mean Snoop ain’t still street. “I come from the hood and I come from the church so they can’t out do me,” he reminded us.

Do you agree with The Doggfather’s message?

Bible Of Love is available now!
