Shantel Jackson is speechless over the silly social media antics between her ex-fiance Floyd Mayweather and rapper, 50 Cent.
On Thursday night, during OK! TV’s pre-Emmy party, HipHollywood caught up with Jackson to get her reaction to the guys use of social media to prove points. “Wow,” she told us. “Wow is all I have to say. It speaks for itself.”
On Thursday morning, Fiddy slammed Mayweather after the boxing champion spoke some unkind words about Nelly, T.I. and himself. “I woke up, I looked at the computer and the computer say, Floyd say ‘f*ck T.I., f*ck Nelly, f*ck 50.’ What’d he say f*ck me for? Nelly f*cked your first baby mama Melissa then took your f*ckin fiancée. Say f*ck that n*gga,” the rapper said in a 15 second IG video.
And although these Instagram messages appear to be childish and seemingly inappropriate, the social media website is currently being used for a greater cause. While on the red carpet, we caught up with some of Hollywood’s stars to talk about the viral ice bucket challenge that is being performed to raise money and awareness for ALS.
“I was a little reluctant. I don’t want people to think I’m doing it just for the hype and getting involved in the trend and also the whole water conservation thing.” Graceland star Erik Valdez told us. “I tweeted about it. For every retweet I got I pledged to donate $5 per retweet. We raised some pretty decent money.”
“I am a Black girl. ‘Stop nominating me for the ice bucket challenge. I do not want to get my hair wet,” Nichole Galicia joked. “But I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it … It’s for charity, you have to do it.”
