A man has been arrested and charged with misdemeanor stalking and harassment after threatening to punch Good Morning America’s, Robin Roberts.
According to reports, 43-year-old Troy Warren showed up to Roberts’ work eight times between June 10 and June 24. The man alleged that Roberts owed him money. “When I see her I’m going to punch her in the face,” Warren told director of security at ABC studios.
According to records posted online, Warren was booked on Monday at the Manhattan Detention Complex and is being held on $3,000 bail. Warren’s next court date is scheduled for August 4.
This isn’t the first incident to go down at ABC studios in New York. Earlier this month, 25-year-old Andre Johnson showed up with a knife and told security he was there to kill GMA co-host, Michael Strahan. Johnson was charged with felony attempted assault, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.
