Justin Bieber Escapes Jail Time, Put On Probation In Egg Throwing Case
Justin Bieber escapes jail time yet again. On Wednesday, the superstar accepted a plea deal in the egg throwing vandalism case and we’d say the 20-year-old is one lucky kid.
The “All that Matters” singer was ordered to 2-years probation, community service and must pay $80,900 restitution for the exterior damage done to his neighbor’s Calabasas mansion. The Canadian pop star was also ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the neighbor and his family.
“Justin is glad to get this matter resolved and behind him,” the singer’s rep said in a statement. “He will continue to move forward focusing on his career and his music.”
Earlier this year, the 47-year-old male victim made a call to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department complaining that Bieber was firing eggs at his home. On January 14, several days after the call was made, deputies raided Bieber’s home to find evidence linking the singer to the incident.
The singer has since moved out of the neighborhood.
