Exclusive! Torrei Hart On Atlanta Exes: Fights, Arguments & Kevin Hart Cameo?

In just a few weeks, Torrei Hart will be making her small screen debut on VH1’s new reality series, Atlanta Exes.

HipHollywood caught up with Kevin Hart’s ex-wife on Tuesday night to talk about what fans can expect from the spinoff of Hollywood Exes.

“It’s full of comedy, it’s funny, it’s a sisterhood, we stick together. We get into arguments, but we don’t necessarily have knock down, pull out fights. We don’t do that, but we do have a good time, we have fun. We just like to bring women together,” she told HH.

As for whether or not Kevin will be making an appearance on the show, Torrei tells us, “you’ll have to tune in and find out.”

In October 2013, HipHollywood was the first to report that Tameka Raymond (Usher’s ex), Torrei, Christina Johnson (CeeLo Green’s ex), Sheree Buchanan (Ray Buchanan’s ex) and Monyetta Shaw (NeYo’s ex) were joining the show.

While on the red carpet for Tahj Mowry’s solo showcase, Hart also expressed her thoughts on reality shows ie. Love & Hip Hop, The Real Housewives of Atlanta throwing punches during their respective seasons.

“I don’t think they wanted their shows to go there, but sometimes things happen. Liquor is involved, emotions are high, ego, you never know what could happen. There were moments when we got into arguments, but I just had enough self control and the other ladies had enough self control not to take it to where you’re hurting people or causing physical harm.”

Atlanta Exes premieres August 18.

‘Annihilation’s’ Leading Ladies Use Intense Military Training As Bonding Experience

Annihilation is one hell of a visually stunning sci-fi film with five female leads on an expedition to uncover the mysterious phenomenon that is expanding across the American coastline.

For Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and Gina Rodriguez, the film, which also lends a voice to what is being called the year of the woman, dressing in head to toe military gear and going through tactical training was a bonding experience.

“”t was really fun. It’s weird to say that. But to have all these women in military training together, where we had to do these exercises … it was a great bonding experience with each other.” Portman told us.

And although the women had the opportunity to use real guns, firearms is not something the ladies of Hollywood advocate. “I’m anti gun to be honest,” Rodriguez said. “I say no guns. There’s no reason for people to have guns especially when you have these,” she said while holding up her firsts.

This past week Gina has been very vocal via social media about gun legislation and the idea behind policy and change following the tragic high school massacre an Parkland, Florida.
Annihilation, also starring Oscar Isaac, hits theaters on February 23.
