Rosario Dawson has landed a recurring role on the Netflix’s exclusive program, Daredevil.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dawson will play “a dedicated young woman whose quest to heal the wounds of Hell’s Kitchen brings blind attorney Matt Murdock unexpectedly crashing into her life.” The role could mean Dawson is slated for a role as Elektra, or Daredevil’s wife, Milla Donovan.
“Rosario Dawson is one the most charismatic, talented and powerful actresses in Hollywood, so she was always at the top of our list for Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel head of TV Jeph Loeb said. “Her role in the series is absolutely critical to Matt Murdock’s journey to become the hero we know as Daredevil.”
Netflix’s order of 13 Daredevil episodes comes as part of their deal with Marvel Studios, which also includes Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and the miniseries The Defenders.
