R&B superstar, Ne-Yo is 100% supportive of his ex-fiancée, Monyetta Shaw starring on VH1’s forthcoming reality show, Atlanta Exes.
While on the red carpet for the 27th annual ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Awards, HipHollywood caught up with the singer to talk about Shaw being featured on the upcoming program.
“I’m all for it,” the night’s honoree told us. “I feel like she not gonna get on TV and talk crazy about me. She’s gonna get on there and tell the truth and that’s what it’s about. She is going to be the reality in reality TV. We are friends, we are co-parenting, we are not romantic anymore but that’s still my home girl and she always will be.”
Ne-Yo and Monyetta have two children together, Madilyn Grace Smith, 4 and Mason Evan Smith, 3.
Atlanta Exes, which will also star Christina Johnson (Cee-Lo’s ex), Sheree Buchanan (ex-wife of football star Ray Buchanan) and Torrei Hart (ex-wife of Kevin Hart) is set to hit airwaves this summer.
