Chris Brown Released From Jail … Tweets “Thank You God”
Chris Brown is a free man.
The singer, who was sentenced to 131 days in jail on May 9, was released around midnight on Monday morning after only serving a short sentence of 108 days. As previously reported, the 25-year-old admitted to getting into an altercation in front of the W Hotel in Washington D.C in October 2013 … which was a clear violation of his probation.
The singer, who is still on probation for the 2009 Rihanna assault case, was initially sentenced to a year, but he received credit for the time he had already spent in rehab and in jail.
After Brown’s release, he instantly took to Twitter to let his fans know that he is back.
“Humbled and Blessed,” he wrote in a series of tweets.
“Back to the Music and the Fans.”
“Than you GOD.”
