50 Cent has been asked by dozens of news outlets what in the world happened with last week’s embarrassing first pitch at the Mets game. The rapper usually blames the horrible pitch on the ball simply “slipping” out of his hand. But now … The rapper has come up with a brand new excuse.

During a recent Reddit AMA Q&A, 50 told fans that: “I have a skeletal muscle injury on my left shoulder from excessive masturbation so take it easy lol.”

The rapper threw the first pitch last week at Citi Field before the Mets vs Pirates game and the pitch easily wend down as the worst first pitch in history. 50 was invited to take part in the game festivities all to promote the ballpark’s post game concert on June 14.

Curtis Jackson, the rapper’s legal name, has been hot on his press tour, promoting his forthcoming drama, Power. The 38-year-old also just announced that G-Unit fans can expect a new album by late November.

HipHollywood recently caught up with Power co-stars, Naturi Naughton and Lela Loren to talk about working with Fiddy on the forthcoming STARZ drama. “He was so respectful, quiet and warm,” Loren said about the executive producer.

Naughton added, “I was pleasantly surprised by his focus, his passion for the show and him having such a supportive energy.”

Power premieres on Saturday, June 7 at 9 p.m. on STARZ.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
