Tyra Banks is making her way back to daytime television. The America’s Next Top Model creator has been tapped as the executive producer and host of a new lifestyle show set to launch next year.

“The fire to inspire women and help them to blaze new paths fiercely burns inside of me,” Banks said in a statement. “I’m excited to be partnering with Disney-ABC to usher in a new era of lifestyle, beauty and entertainment that will inspire women to be the CEO of their lives via honesty, humor and the newest tips and tricks without being intimidating or precious. To my fierce fam of future viewers: I can’t wait to shake up daytime TV together. I have a lot of information to give and still lots to learn. Let’s do it!”

According to reports, the model will discuss a range of topics and will be joined by a panel of lifestyle experts.

“With an extraordinary social media following and legions of fans built over her years on television, Tyra is more relevant than ever,” Lisa Hackner, executive vp of daytime and syndicated programming, ABC Entertainment Group said. “She is the ideal personality to infuse lifestyle content with fresh energy, humor, and the practical information the daytime audience craves.”

Banks is no stranger to the world of hosting. Aside from the 40-year-old’s long running show, America’s Next Top Model, Banks was also the host of The Tyra Banks Show, which ran from 2005-10.

Sorry Folks! Martin Lawrence Doesn’t Think ‘Bad Boys 3’ Will Happen

Martin Lawrence has pretty much lost hope in plans for another Bad Boys film, and for good reason. Over the last few months, the long-gestating third installment has lost it’s director and release date.

Now according to Lawrence it may have even lost one of it’s boys – co-star Will Smith. “I don’t think we’re going to get one, not the way everything’s turning out,” Lawrence told EW. “Will is off doing another movie, and I don’t think it’s going to happen.”

Just last December Smith told Jimmy Kimmel that Bad Boys 3 aka Bad Boys For Life,  was “very, very, very close” to beginning production. He also added of Lawrence, “I love that dude. That’s among the best times I’ve ever had making movies. So I’m looking forward to it.”

As for Lawrence, he’s ready if the project can get off life support. “I’m there, I’m ready right now,” said Lawrence. “If they wanted to do it, I’m ready, but I don’t have control of that. That’s the studio’s decision.”

Back in March, writer/director Joe Carnahan departed from the Sony Pictures’ flick after months of delays. And director Micheal Bay, who helmed both Bad Boys and Bad Boys II declined to return after too many set-backs. “Pretty soon its going to called Bad Old Boys because they can’t get it together with doing a script,” he told HipHollywood back in 2016. “Thats why I backed out of the process.”
