Ludacris Says New Album “Will Be Very Personal”

Forget Ludacris — this new album will be all about Chris Bridges.

It’s been four years since Chris, the rapper’s government name, dropped his last album, Battle of the Sexes. But now, no longer focused on the sexes, the former DJ is refocused on the art that made him famous and is getting more personal this time around.

In addition to finishing up the last month of shooting Fast & Furious 7, Luda says his upcoming album Ludaversal is almost done as well. “My album is about 90% done,” Bridges told HipHollywood while backstage at the Billboard Music Awards. “It’ll be very personal about my life because I’ve had so many albums where I never got into the personal side of Chris Bridges,” Ludacris revealed.

Recently, a lot of Luda’s personal life has played out very publicly. At the top of the year it was revealed that he had a baby while on a break from longtime girlfriend Eudoxie. Furthermore, child support and custody issues between he and the mother of the child have become tabloid headlines several times over the past months. We wonder if all of those personal issues will make it to the album too.

Check out our full interview with Ludacris below. Are you excited for Ludaversal?

Girl Power Prevails At The 2017 American Music Awards

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
