Justin Timberlake was uber victorious during Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards, taking home seven wins, including the Top Artist trophy. And while the singer was extremely grateful and thankful for all the love and support, he made it very clear that there is one person he is NOT thanking.
“I want to thank everybody on Earth,” Timberlake said via satellite while accepting the top artist award . “Everybody on Earth … except … except Donald Sterling. I don’t want to.”
Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez, who performed “First Love” during the show, took home the Icon Award. “Music has always been my first love, and I thank God and I thank my fans and I thank my friends, my family, that I’ve been able to do this over these years,” she said. “Have faith, dream big and think big.”
JLo also took the stage with Pitbull and Claudia Lette during the awards show to premiere the official anthem of this year’s FIFA World Cup, “We Are One (Ole Ola).”
