Following NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver’s decision to ban Clippers owner, Donald Sterling from the NBA for life, Twitter blew up with reactions from fans and celebrities across the nation. But there was one response posted on social media that makes us wonder: Will Diddy buy the Clippers?

“I will always be a Knicks fan, but I am a business man. #DiddyBuyTheClippers #NameYourPrice,” Diddy tweeted.

The rapper and Revolt CEO added, “eriously….I applaud Commissioner Silver and the @NBA for quick and decisive action. #BiggerThanBasketball.”

According to Forbes magazine, Diddy’s net worth is a whopping $700 million and according to the business magazine, the rapper is on the road to become hip-hop’s first billionaire.

From music to business, the 44-year-old has turned into one of the entertainment industry’s most respected entrepreneurs. Diddy is the CEO of the new music cable network Revolt, has a killer deal with Diageo’s Ciroc and of course, we can’t forget about his clothing line and other small ventures. So, it would be no surprise if Diddy is given the opportunity, he would buy the Clippers.

During Silver’s announcement regarding Donald’s fate with the league, he addressed the 80-year-old’s ownership interest in the Clippers. “I will urge the board of governors to exercise its authority to force a sell of the team and will do everything in my power to ensure that that happens,” the NBA Commissioner explained.

There are reports circulating that Dodgers owner, Magic Johnson wants to buy the team, but the former NBA star put the rumors to rest over the weekend, tweeting:

“To NBA Fans, I want to put a stop to a rumor. I am not trying to buy the Clippers, they already have an owner.”
