Shocking Allegations! What Oprah’s Stepmom Is Saying About The TV Mogul
Oprah Winfrey’s stepmother is airing out some dirty laundry and is making some pretty serious allegations against the TV mogul.
During a recent interview with The Daily Mail, Barbara Winfrey revealed that Oprah is allegedly kicking her out of the home that she and her divorced husband shared for nearly 14 years.
“I have lost everything,” the 66-year-old told the news outlet. “It’s not just a house, this is my home. All my memories are here. I’m trying to keep it together, but there are some days I just don’t understand how I could have made her so angry that she would kick me out on the street and think nothing about it. But that’s Oprah — she’s judge and jury.”
Barbara, 66, claims that Oprah, 60 is “reclaiming” the stunning $1.4 million Nashville mansion that she bought Barbaara and her father, Vernon Winfrey back in 2000 … “Because she can.”
“It was a new home so we got to choose every part of it,” she said about the wedding gift. “My husband once told me that just because someone gives you something does not mean they love you. He was talking about Oprah.”
She goes on to tell the news outlet that she was served with an eviction notice earlier this month and was given until May 29 to vacate the home.
During the exclusive interview, Barbara also opened up about Oprah’s relationship with her longtime partner, Stedman Graham. The 66-year-old claims that the couple is “not bound by romance but a pragmatic cocktail of shared secrets, convenience and money.”
And in reference to Oprah’s controversial relationship with best friend, Gayle King, Barbara says their relationship is “‘bizarre’ and ‘unhealthy,’ and points to it as the reason that neither woman is married.”
“You find out quickly where your place is with Oprah and you get in that place and you stay in that place,” Barbara said. “My crime, I think, was to talk to her like a normal person and she didn’t like that one bit.”
