Columbus Short: New Allegations, What His Estranged Wife Is Saying Now!
And so the Columbus Short saga continues.
In new reports, Short’s estranged wife, Tanee is claiming that despite a restraining order, the actor broke into their Calabasas home over Easter weekend and plundered the place. According to TMZ, Tanee filed new documents, claiming that the troubled actor “broke a door off its hinges, ripped off her bed sheets, left on a bunch of lights and made her fear for her safety and the safety of their 2-year-old daughter.”
Tanee filed a restraining order against the former Scandal star earlier this month after he allegedly pulled a knife, threatened to kill her and then threatened to take his own life.
HipHollywood was the first to report exclusively Scandal creator, Shonda Rhimes doesn’t “tolerate negative press” and that she “issued Columbus a warning to get his personal issues sorted out.” We were told that if the actor “continued with his violent behavior,” he could get the ax from the show. And the ax he got.
On Friday, April 25, Short confirmed in a statement that he will not be returning for Season 4 of the hit ABC show.
“At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today. I would like to first thank [creator] Shonda Rhimes for the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast. Thank you GLADIATORS, who have supported me throughout my entire career and of course to ABC and Shondaland for allowing me to play such a pivotal role in the Scandal series. I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas. I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry and the rest of the cast, who have become like a second family to me in such a short amount of time. For this, I will forever be grateful.”
