Shaquille O’Neal is currently under investigation after he allegedly assaulted a co-worker at Turner Studios in Atlanta.
According to the incident report, Robert Williams claims that the former NBA star “tackled him” while working at the studio on May 9, 2013. ” [Shaq] ran out of a room and hit me with a tackle punch to the back knocking me down and falling on top of me injuring my neck and back,” the police report states.
“The investigation was initially handled by the zone and as that investigation deepened, it was transferred (to) the complex case squad,” Sgt. Greg Lyon of the Atlanta Police Department says. “At the conclusion of their investigation, we’ll have their findings and we’ll go forth from there, whether charges will be filed, whether it be reviewed by the DA’s Office.”
HipHollywood talked with Shaq’s lawyer, Dennis Roach, who tells us he has “no comment.”
After retiring from the NBA in 2011, the Sacramento Kings owner became an analyst for TNT’s NBA coverage in Atlanta.
