The rapper stopped by BBC Radio 1 to talk with host Zane Lowe about a number of topics, including his number 1 album, Mastermind.
“It feels good, I can sit back and smoke good now,” he told Lowe. “All my previous albums, when I mixed the albums … it took me a couple of hours. But for the first time we spent a few days. So the process after the vocals were laid and the production was done, we spent more time with. I’m just glad everybody is rocking with it.”
Mastermind, Ross’ sixth studio album, sold 179,000 copies in the week ending March 9 and scored number 1 on the Billboard 200.
