Amy Winhouse’s father, Mitch Winehouse took to Twitter over the weekend to slam rumors that his late daughter would be performing in a posthumous tour.
“No truth in the Hologram story. Utter rubbish as usual. Mitch,” he wrote on the social media network.
On Friday, UK’s The Sun reported that billionaire, Alki David was planning a hologram world tour by using 3D technology. ”The plan is that Amy will finally tour the world after failing to do so when she was alive,” a source told the publication.
The insdier added, ”With an orchestra and her hologram, she can take to the stage and fans can see her perform her legendary hits. The idea is in its early stages but it’s hoped that Amy’s dad Mitch will maybe join her and do the introductions.”
The same technology was used for 2 Pac’s incredibly realistic hologram which was featured during Coachella 2012.
