Chris Brown was arrested in Malibu this afternoon after being thrown out of the rehab facility where he had been living for the past four months. The singer violated a judge’s order by getting booted from the treatment center and is now behind bars.
Brown was “cooperative” when deputies arrested him at about 2 p.m. Friday, according to a statement released by the sheriff’s department. He is being held without bail.
The judge in the Rihanna beating case ordered the singer to live in the Malibu rehab facility for 90 days for anger management therapy. At his last court hearing, the judge modified things and ordered Chris to stay in the facility until his Washington D.C. assault case ran its course. The Virginia native was also warned that if he left rehab for any reason, he would go directly to jail.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … Brown was thrown out of the rehab facility this morning, for violating “internal rules.” Chris was allegedly caught having “an inappropriate relationship” with a female worker at the beginning of the month, but that is NOT why he was thrown out today.
