Fans are not happy with Lauryn Hill.
On Friday night, the singer canceled her show in New Jersey for the second time after allegedly coming down with a nasty flu bug. “She came down with a stomach bug/virus … and received medical attention … Her condition unfortunately did not improve for (the) performance. We apologize for any inconvenience,” her rep told MSN.
While fans would usually feel sympathetic toward the ill star, concert goers changed their tune after seeing Hill perform a tribute to the Beatles on The Late Show With David Letterman on Friday night. Clearly, the singer wasn’t feeling too bad because she delivered an incredible performance of the Beatles “Something.” But according to the Hill’s camp, “her performance on The Late Show With David Letterman was pre-recorded on Thursday, not on Friday when it aired.”
According to reports, Friday night’s performance was the former Fugees singer’s first television appearance in three years. Hill is back on the grind after serving three months in prison for tax evasion.
