Beyonce never fails to amaze us.
During the singer’s show at the LG Arena in Birmingham on Tuesday night, Beyonce made a fan feel uber special when she stopped her entire show to wish the concert goer a happy birthday.
Shehnaz Khan, who was celebrating her 22nd birthday, was shocked beyond belief when Bey made her way over, asked for her name and started to sing “Happy Birthday” while holding her hand. Lucky girl.
“You got the sign and everything, What’s your name and how do you spell it,” the 32-year-old said when she noticed Khan was celebrating a special day.
“Beyonce singing Happy Birthday to me last night and kissing my hand afterwards. #birmingham #birthday #mcswt #whatslife,” Khan wrote on Instagram, including a video clip of Bey singing.
During an interview with The Birmingham Mail, the journalist described the experience as incredible. “Well I was wearing a birthday badge which she noticed early on in the show, she kind of nodded in acknowledgement. I’ve been to quite a few of her gigs. But I can’t believe she stopped the show for me. I really wanted her to sing to be but I can’t believe she did it.”
She added, “I was leaning over the barrier holding her hand and not realizing the camera in my other hand was recording, everyone around me was going crazy.”
Khan later posted on Instagram that because of Beyonce’s tribute, she has been offered a number of jobs.
“BBC just interviewed me about how I feel now that I’ve gone viral, but the job offers are flying through the roof I don’t know what to do with myself apart from cry when I get home! Thank you SO much @beyonce.”
