Keyshia Cole Owes Uncle Sam A LOT Of Money!

There are three people you just don’t mess with…the I, the R and the S! Keyshia Cole must not have gotten that memo because she failed to pay Uncle Sam his money and now he’s coming for her.

2009 was a good year for Cole. She headlined her first tour and made a lot of money, but unfortunately forgot to pay her taxes. According to RadarOnline, a lien filed in Georgia on November 25, 2013 claims Cole owes a total of $162,158.93 for money made during that profitable time. The IRS notes on the lien that they will seize her property if she doesn’t pay off the debt.

The documents state, “We have made a demand for payment of this liability, but it remains unpaid. Therefore, there is a lien in favor of the United States on all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer for the amount of the taxes and additional penalties, interest and costs that may accrue.”

Yikes! It’s no secret that the “Love” singers marriage to NBA player Daniel “Boobie” Gibson has been rocky lately, but now her relationship with Uncle Sam has soured, too.
