Kanye West may have promised to be Mr. Nice Guy in 2014, but the rapper’s New Year’s resolution is already blown. On Thursday night, Yeezus launched into one of his classic tirades after performing his hit song, “Touch the Sky.” His targets in this rants weren’t corporations, but people: namely, James Franco and Seth Rogan who spoofed Kanye’s “Bound 2” video, as well as radio personalities Charlamagne and Sway.
“If I go to a radio interview, sh*t the f*ck up! Sh*t the f*ck up!” the energetic rapper screamed at an amused crowd. “What have you done with the past ten years Charlamagne, Sway? [What] the f*ck you did? F*ck these n*ggas names is? I am YEEZUS!” he continued.
Kanye made headlines last year when an interview with Sway almost turned into a fist fight after the rapper began raising his voice at the levelheaded host. Just hours before that interview, Ye took a beating from Charlamagne who said that his Yeezus album was less than stellar.
As for Franco and Rogan, Ye made sure to issue these directions to anyone making fun of him or spoofing his music videos: “Shut the f*ck up!”
