It’s been a minute since Keri Hilson dropped a record — well, more like four year! But during her time away from music, the “No Boys Allowed” singer allowed NBA baller Serge Ibaka to become a main fixture in her life.
Ibaka and Hilson dated for a while, but their love story came to an end earlier this year. While the break-up is sad, the music that it will influence is sure to make Hilson’s eager fans excited. When HipHollywood caught up with Keri at the Hollywood premiere of About Last Night, she dished on how going through a public break-up can be tough. “Some things you want to deal with privately, but you’re not always given that option,” the singer expressed while revealing that the details of the relationship will be on her upcoming album, “I have to write about it…to be honest with my music, my craft or to expect anyone to connect, it has to come from a place of honesty.”
