Justin Bieber Arrested Again After Allegedly Attacking Limo Driver
Justin Bieber was arrested and charged with assault on Wednesday after allegedly hitting a limo driver in the back of the head last month.
Just hours after the singer’s lawyer entered a not guilty plea in connection with the teens recent DUI arrest, Bieber turned himself into Toronto police to face charges. The Biebs was charged with one count of assault and was ordered to appear in a Toronto courtroom on March 10.
According to law enforcement, on December 30, the limo driver allegedly picked up Bieber and six other people from a nightclub around 2:50 a.m. and on the way to the hotel, a fight broke out between the driver and one of the passengers. During the altercation, one of the passengers, allegedly Justin, hit the driver in the back of the head multiple times.
According to a statement, “The driver stopped the limousine, exited the vehicle and called police … The man who struck him left the scene before police arrived.”
Justin’s lawyer, Howard Weitzman says the singer is innocent and that they “anticipate that this matter will be treated as a summary offense, the equivalent of a misdemeanor in the United States.”
Bieber reportedly a quick hour and a half at the police station before heading home.
