What better way to start Grammy weekend than with a Diddy party? Stars from far and wide showed up this Thursday at Boulevard 3 in Hollywood to kick their weekend off the right way. Diddy, The man of the hour might have not hit the red carpet, but his famous friends did.

“Puff is the man yo and the confidence and swagger that he exudes he throws it all on his parties and they become epic,” Mack Wilds told Hiphollywood on the red carpet outside of the event.

The party was indeed epic, with a guest list including Karruche Tran, T.I., Keshia Cole, French Montana, Scarface, Ne-Yo, Wiz Khalifa and Paris Hiltion who was the night’s headlining DJ.

The Best Rap Album Grammy award is currently up in the air between nominees Drake, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar,  Kanye West and Mackelmore Ryan Lewis. Since HipHollywood was at a Grammy party filled with industry insiders, we thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask who they had their bets on.

It turns out that while he seemed not to have been their favorite nominee, guests thought Macklemore would win.

“They have been giving everything to Macklemore,” Roc Nation’s Bridget Kelly stated. “I think its cool, I’d like to see more love shown to Kendrick for sure. I feel like he is not getting the recognition he deserves.

What do you think? Does Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ album deserve “Best Rap Album Of The Year”?  Let us know in the comment section below.

Make  sure to tune in to the grammy awards which airs this Sunday at 8pm on CBS.

Music’s most amazing night went down Sunday at the Microsoft Theater in L.A. and we have to say the night was all about the ladies!

That’s right the 45th American Music Awards had some major moments and some major girl power starting with Pink and Kelly Clarkson.

The duo got the show started singing R.E.M.’s “Everybody Hurts”, but it was their solo performances that had fans going nuts.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage and had everyone on their feet with a medley of her classic tracks and new single “Love So Soft.”

While Pink took her career to new heights leaping off the side of a building while performing her hit single “Beautiful Trauma.”

Christina Aguilera, paid tribute to Whitney Houston with a commemorative performance for the 25th anniversary of The Bodyguard.

But the #Majah moment of the night had to be Diana Ross. The Motown legend was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, and performed some of her greatest hits before accepting the honor.
