on

Beyonce’s self titled album is still conquering the Billboard charts.

Billboard announced today that the the Queen Bey has the longest running No. 1 album since last April and the first album since 2009 to sell more than 300,000 copies in each of its first three weeks. The pop chart website also reported that the album is “the fastest-selling album by a woman since Swift’s ‘Red’ plowed through 1.6 million in its first two weeks.”

Amazon and Target announced shortly after the albums release that they would not be carrying it in their stores. After reading this report from Billboard, they might look back on this as bad decision.
