He may have finally got to perform for Obama last month but some Australians are saying Snoop Dogg’s music is to explicit to be performed in their country.
According to a recent report, a women’s organization in Australia has attempted to block Snoop Dogg’s entry into their country. The organization, Collective Shout, attempted to stop Snoops upcoming tour through Australia because they argue that his lyrics “glorify violence against women.” Though the attempt was finally blocked by a judge, the group even tried to get halt Snoop’s entry into the country and get his work/visa permit revoked.
Snoop will go forward with the tour despite this resistance and will be co-headlining the Big Day Out Festival as well as five other performances around the country.
