Kim Kardashian Addresses The Haters, Why The Star Feels ‘Hurt’

Published

on

Kim Kardashian took to her blog on Tuesday morning to address the haters who criticized her for her recent charitable efforts.

“I feel compelled to speak about something that is in my head and my heart,” Kim wrote. “Over the years, I’ve had to grow a thick skin. Being in the public eye, there are times I feel like I get criticized for any and everything I do. I’m used to it now. I just choose not to feed into negativity or become consumed by it.”

Last month, the reality TV beauty auctioned off several of her designer garments on eBay to raise money for families in the Philippines. 10% of the proceeds went to the typhoon relief, but unfortunately, Kim still received some backlash for her good deeds.

“The problem comes in when I get attacked for giving and trying to help people,” the new mom explained in the blog post titled, Giving Comes From The Heart.

“My dad always taught me the importance of giving back. I don’t publicize everything I do to help charities and people all over the world. I do it because I want to. I do it because my dad taught me to. I do it because it’s the right thing to do. So for people to attack me for giving 10% of my eBay auction sales to the people of the Philippines, that hurts.”

“I do eBay auctions monthly and change the charity or church from time to time. I give 10% of all my earnings to charities, not just these eBay auctions. This month it’s for the people of the Philippines, last month was Life Change Community Church. In regards to these eBay auctions, when the eBay numbers get broken down, the auction management agency that posts for me gets a percentage for all of their hard work, then eBay listing fees, end of auction fees, eBay Store fees, Paypal fees, etc., all add up to about half of the sale. Then I give 10% to a charity,” Kanye’s fiancee shared.

Kim concluded, “The people of the Philippines need all of our help, no matter how big or small. Over the last 5+ years, I have listed thousands of items on eBay Giving Works for various causes. I will continue to do what is in my heart and am happy to know many others have enjoyed purchasing from me, as they too are giving with me. Giving comes from the heart. We all need to be reminded of this as we celebrate the holiday season this year.”

Maimonides, the 12th century rabbi and philosopher, wrote a famous list of eight levels of charity. They need to look it up and learn, if that’s at all possible for them. To learn, ready, any of it.

Oh please, she is just doing damage control again and playing the victim. Something she is quite used to. 10% to a charity that will help the unfortunate people in the Phillipines is disgusting. It is disgusting because she is worth 40 Mil and surely for one month, she can afford to go without the majority of the profits made on her clothes and things. Plus those clothes are given to her by designers for her to wear. She is a walking billboard. So she never paid for the clothes anyway. On top of that she tweeted that the proceeds would go to the Phillippines and conveniently left off that only 10 % would be going to them. So it made it sound like all the proceeds would go to the Phillippines. She just did this to once again profit herself. She used the tragedy that happened in the Phillippines to drum up sales for her auction site. Kimye is nothing but a couple of egotistic, vain, arrogant, greedy, selfish, narcissistic, ljoud mouthed, morons. There is a reason why Kanye’s CD dropped 80% in sales the second week it was out and why the KUWTK trashy, scripted show looses a million viewers every season. Enough of this vile couple. They represent all that is wrong with this country today.

She should take a look at the story in the Bible of the widow’s mite. Even though she gave two coins, she did more to bless God than the Pharisees (who were basically loaded) who gave much and did it to be seen by men. Sounds familiar, right?…
