Cali Christmas: Kendrick Brings Out Diddy, B.O.B. Leaves Twerking in 2013

Tis’ the season for twerking, ratchet songs and Grammys.

On Saturday night, Power 106 held their annual Cali Christmas concert in Anaheim and some of rap’s biggest names hit the stage. Kid Ink, J. Cole, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar were just some of the performers. Kendrick, who headlined Cali Christmas for the second straight year, brought out Diddy and his TDE family during his set.

“I knew it was going to happen,” Schoolboy Q told HipHollywood backstage regarding Kendrick’s seven Grammy nominations. “My n*gga doing it right now. I’m proud.”

B.O.B., Sage the Gemini, DJ Mustard and Ty Dolla $ rounded up the night’s acts performing some of 2013’s biggest ratchet songs.

B.O.B., brought an abundance of girls out to twerk while he performed, however, the Atlanta rapper told HipHollywood backstage that he’s officially deemed “twerking” as something we should leave in 2013. “I don’t like saying twerking no more,” B.O.B. shared. “It’s old. Now we’re saying, ‘Throw that a**.’ That’s what we’re doing in 2014.”

Let’s just hope we do some other productive things in the new year too.
