Tameka Raymond Turns Tragedy Into Triumph
One year after losing her son Kile Glover in a tragic jet ski accident, Tameka Foster is determined to not let his death be in vain.
That’s why she created Kile’s World Foundation, an organization aimed at helping children receive comprehensive art education. This year, she’s taking it a step further with the foundations inaugural Give Thanks 5K run/walk. The event will take place on November 30th in Atlanta, Georgia and will fund art camps for the foundation. Fitness guru Donna Richardson and R&B singer Syleena Johnson will also be on hand to help raise awareness.
This good news comes on the heels of some troubling times for Raymond. Just three months ago Tameka and Usher’s son, Usher Raymond V, almost drowned while at the singers home. This unfortunate incident resulted in an emergency custody hearing, which ended with Usher retaining primary custody of Usher V and their other son, Naviyd.
