NeNe Addresses Hospitalization: “I Was Diagnosed With Blood Clots In My Lung”

NeNe Leakes took to her blog on Tuesday morning to address the cause of her recent hospitalization.

“Late last week I wasn’t feeling well and was feeling a little short of breath. I know my body and I know when I should be concerned so I went to the hospital to get checked out,” the star wrote.

“After some routine tests I was diagnosed with blood clots in my lung. I’m told this happened to me because of the constant traveling around the country that I do for my job.”

She added, “I’m thankful to be alive as the doctor advised me that most people don’t recognize the symptoms of blood clots and don’t go to the doctor and that’s when the big problems start happening.”

NeNe goes on to say that she did not have a heart attack contrary to some published reports.

The former The New Normal star included a photo of herself posing with granddaughter. “I’m blessed to be home with my wonderful Husband and family! Look who crawled in the hospital bed with me.”

‘Black Panther’ Sequel To Focus On Okoye & Dora Milaje?!

A Billi, A Billi, A Billi … when your movie nets a billion dollars OF COURSE there’s going to be a sequel!!

As Black Panther continues to dominate the box office, talk has already turned to a sequel. Marvel president Kevin Fiege confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that they will definitely be returning the Wakanda stating, “we absolutely will do that.” But when asked what direction the movie would take, his answer was intriguing:

“I think there’s lots of potential. It’s a balance between leaving people wanting more and then giving them too much, but I would watch a movie about any of those characters you just named. I think Shuri’s astounding, and you’ll see much more of her in our universe. Okoye, I think I’d watch three action films just Okoye. I’m not saying we’re doing that, but I’m saying that we’re intrigued by them.”

Yessss, be intrigued! We all need more Danai Gurira (who plays Dora Milaje leader, Okoye) in our lives.

Wakanda, forever!!!
