Mona Scott Young Talks ‘Love and Hip Hop LA!’

Love and Hip Hop is picking up and moving to Los Angeles.

During a recent interview with Atlanta’s Hot 107.9, Mona Scott Young confirmed that the next spinoff will most likely be in Los Angeles. “We’ve been looking at a few cities, it’s feeling like we will land in L.A.,” Scott said.

“L.A. feels like the next city … Again it’s about struggling artists trying to make it and that’s what’s great about the franchise, but it’s feeling like we’ve got some great stories to tell in L.A.”

“Every season I wonder what can we do to top ourselves and what else is out there and some how the reality Gods are always smiling,” the Love and Hip Hop producer added.

Earlier this year, HipHollywood caught up with rapper and former Love and Hip Hop star Somaya Reece, who was coy about joining the cast of Love and Hip Hop LA. “I will definitely be filming something out here in LA. That’s for sure,” Reece told us.

Love & Hip Hop first debuted in March of 2011. The show went on to have several spinoffs including Love and Hip Hop Atlanta and currently, Love and Hip Hop New York.

Sound off: Do you think LA would be a good city for the show?
