Exclusive: Usain Bolt Gives ‘The Voice’ Finalist Tessanne Chin Advice
Usain Bolt, the fastest man in ever, stopped by The PUMA Store in Santa Monica for a signing of his new book, Faster Than Lightning: My Autobiography. The event marks the gold medalist’s first US appearance since re-signing an endorsement deal with PUMA in September.
But that’s not all the Olympian has been up to. On Monday he appeared on The Voice to support and surprise, top 10 finalist and fellow Jamacian, Tessanne Chin. During the show, Tessanne performed Gladys Knight’s classic “If I Were Your Woman” and wowed the audience as well as Usain who gave her a standing ovation. After her performance, host Carson Daly, asked Bolt about the support Tessanne is getting in Jamacia, “it’s been crazy everybody is watching and rooting for her,” he replied.
HipHollywood met with Usain and asked what advice he had for his country mate.
“The key thing is to do your best and as long as you do your best its ok,” he said.
