Well, Kanye West is not going to be happy about this. HipHollywood has learned that Solange has been named the art director and a creative consultant at PUMA. Beyonce’s hipster sister announced the news online, writing on Facebook and Instagram:

“After years of art directing my own projects and visuals (music videos, photo shoots, album artwork, web content ect) … I am SO EXTREMELY EXCITED to finally announce that I am now able to apply my passion for all things design into my new position as an Art Director and Creative Consultant for the iconic @PUMA!!!

It is in my new role that I am able to express my love for not only design but the conception of creative ideas, and the execution of them by curating amazingly talented teams.

I’ve had so much fun producing special content, ad campaigns, events, and working alongside the awesome Puma team with some of my favorite emerging artist, photographers, graphic designers ect. to create activations that really celebrates both mine and Pumas approach and philosophies.”

Solange’s first project for Puma is titled, “Girls of Blaze,” and will be released in February 2014. Congrats, Solange.

As for the Kanye reference, the rapper has been blasting executives at Nike for not giving him a creative position with the company after he designed an über successful shoe for them. Just last night in Brooklyn, the rapper slammed Nike CEO Mark Parker. “Mark Parker even talked sh–, talking about, ‘We don’t even know why people like the Yeezys,'” Ye told the crowd. “They like ’em like they like the Jordans, because I was in fourth grade getting kicked out for drawing Jordans.”

Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.

He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.

“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”

In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.

“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”

BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
