Chris Brown and girlfriend Karrueche Tran were spotted at Jhene Aiko’s private EP release event at Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood on Thursday night. A HipHollywood staffer who attended the event, described Brown as happy but relatively quiet for most of the night. Meanwhile Tran made rounds engaging, talking and hugging several other party goers.
After Aiko completed an acoustic performance the couple left and headed to restaurant Aventine. When the duo left the Hollywood eatery, camera’s caught Brown giving his on-again off-again girlfriend a kiss before the two headed their separate ways; the singer clearly celebrating his freedom after leaving rehab.
According to the singer’s rep, the 24-year-old is no longer under inpatient care in rehab but will be “continuing his rehab program as an outpatient and is also completing his community service in the Los Angeles area.”
On October 29, the pop star checked himself into a rehabilitation center to “gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point,” Brown’s rep told HipHollywood.
The 24-year-old’s rehab stint follows the star’s arrest and October 28 court appearance stemming from a fight in front of the W Hotel in Washington D.C. Brown and his bodyguard were taken into custody on felony assault charges after allegedly punching a man in the face.
Brown is still on probation for his 2009 assault on then girlfriend Rihanna.
It’s Litty! Migos, Jaden Smith & More Turn Up At ‘Bright’ World Premiere
Netflix definitely made sure the world premiere for their new flick Bright was lit!
Before the films stars including Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Edgar Ramierez and Noomi Rapace hit the black carpet, Migos surprised fans with a pop-up performance.
Smith’s son Jaden also rocked the packed crowd at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood.
Artists featured on the soundtrack BRIGHT: THE ALBUM including Portugal The Man, Machine Gun Kelly, Ty Dolla $ign, Kiiara, Slushie, Grey, Dram, and Bebe Rexha also hit up the premiere.
Will also snapped some fun flicks with his son Jaden before greeting fans and speaking with reporters including HipHollywood.
He told HipHollywood that he was super excited to reunite with his Suicide Squad director David Ayer for the film, and would “work with him whenever he wants to.“
“I love his madness how he creates,” gushes Smith. “How he thinks about scenes, the way he works with actors, it’s some of the best psychological work of any director I’ve ever worked with.”
In the film Smith plays an LAPD cop in a mythical world of orcs, elves and fairies … and Ayer told us, he couldn’t think of anyone better for the role.
“We had such a good time on Suicide Squad together and this role is kind of perfect for him, it’s an edgy movie, buts it’s funny. He’s got the best sense of humor of anybody I know.”
BRIGHT debuts on Netflix December 22. Peep the newest trailer below.
